vital exhaustion

a state characterized by excessive fatigue, lack of energy, increased irritability, sleep disturbances, and feelings of demoralization. It has been associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular-related events, particularly myocardial infarction and sudden cardiac arrest. See also burnout.
