proattitudinal behavior

behavior that is consistent with an attitude. Having a positive attitude toward a political candidate and agreeing to donate money to that candidate’s political campaign is an example of proattitudinal behavior. See also attitude–behavior consistency. Compare counterattitudinal behavior.
