an inability to reach orgasm in general or with certain forms of sexual stimulation. Principally occurring in women, it may be primary, in which a woman has never been able to achieve an orgasm with any type of stimulation, with or without a partner; secondary, in which a woman had previously been but is currently unable to attain orgasm through physical contact; or situational, in which a woman is unable to experience orgasm with a particular partner or in a particular situation.
