multiattribute utility analysis

a method of using the ratings of judges to quantify the value of complex alternatives or choices. In program evaluation, dimensions relevant to outcomes of different programs are ranked and then weighted in terms of their comparative importance, and each program is scored on all value dimensions. This form of analysis enables comparisons of different programs to be made.
