n. for individuals with mobility impairments, a type of physical extension device consisting of a piece fitting into the mouth of the user that is attached to an extension with a tip that may press against, grasp, pull, or point to an object. It may be used, for example, to press an elevator button, turn on a light switch, turn a page in a book, or type on a keyboard.
