mind–body intervention

therapeutic approaches that focus on harnessing the power of the mind to bring about change in the body or achieve reduction of symptoms of disease or disorder. The various techniques used include relaxation training (e.g., autogenic training, progressive relaxation), meditation, prayer, and creative arts therapy.
