Hay method

Hay method

a job evaluation technique used in determining the pay structure in an organization. Jobs are evaluated on the extent to which they require know-how, problem solving, and accountability, then compensated accordingly. The method combines elements of the factor-comparison method and the point method. [Edward N. Hay (1891–1958), U.S. management expert]
