cooperative reward structure

a performance setting in which rewards are assigned on the basis of group rather than individual achievement, and the success of each member promotes the success of the group as a whole. In most cases, such structures improve group trust and communication and possibly foster greater achievement. Compare competitive reward structure; individualistic reward structure.
