frequency judgment

a participant’s judgment of how many times a particular stimulus was presented during a test. Such judgments are used in research on memory and sensory thresholds. See also word-frequency study.

risk-assessment matrix

a table used to prioritize hazards on the basis of risk, which is defined by the intersection between the probability of the hazards and the severity of their consequences. Also called hazard-assessment matrix.
