evaluation interview

an interview conducted as part of an employee-evaluation program. An evaluation interview may be a routine or periodic discussion of the individual’s job performance (see performance review) or may arise from specific circumstances. In some cases, it may involve psychological incentives, such as suggesting that the employee develop a set of personal goals.
