dyssomnia

n. any of various sleep disorders marked by abnormalities in the amount, quality, or timing of sleep. In DSM–IV–TR, for example, dyssomnias include primary insomnia, primary hypersomnia, narcolepsy, circadian rhythm sleep disorder, breathing-related sleep disorder, and dyssomnia not otherwise specified, which may be due to excessive noise, light, or other environmental factors; ongoing sleep deprivation; Ekbom’s syndrome; or nocturnal myoclonus.

a home and community-based service provided for a person with an intellectual or developmental disability. This service provides productive daily schedules of activity based on individualized support planning, including clinical services, companion services, socialization, recreation, vocational development, and lifestyle enrichment. In practice, these services may be delivered on a person-by-person basis or in small groups in any location during daytime hours.
