aerobic exercise

physical activity, typically prolonged and of moderate intensity (e.g., walking, jogging, cycling), that involves the use of oxygen in the muscles to provide the needed energy. Aerobic exercise strengthens the cardiovascular and respiratory systems and is associated with a variety of health benefits, including increased endurance, reduction of body fat, and decreased depression and anxiety.
