vibration environment

an environment in which the oscillations of an operational vehicle in motion are transmitted to humans by supporting seats, floors, walls, and handles. Such vibration can have mechanical effects on the human body that are similar to those caused by acceleration. The magnitude of the vibration effects depends on the frequency range of the vibration force and its relationship to the body’s dynamic response.
