vaginal orgasm

1. female orgasm achieved through vaginal stimulation.

2. in early psychoanalytic theory, the “mature, feminine” orgasm, as opposed to “immature, masculine” orgasms produced from clitoral stimulation. This view has long since been refuted. Indeed, researchers have demonstrated that the clitoris is the focus of female sexual response and that vaginal orgasms are primarily related to indirect stimulation of the clitoris and labia during intercourse. See coital anorgasmia.
