testwise

adj. describing a test taker who has developed skills and strategies that are not related to the construct being measured on the test but that facilitate an increased test score. Experience with similar tests, coaching, or the ability to respond advantageously to items that contain extraneous clues and suggestions may yield a score that is higher than the true ability of the test taker.

lifetime risk

lifetime risk

the odds that one will be diagnosed with a disease or condition during one’s lifetime (usually stated in terms of 70 to 85 years). It is often important for individuals undergoing genetic counseling to differentiate lifetime risk from the risk of being diagnosed with the disease in the next 5 or 10 years.
