test battery

a group, series, or set of several tests designed to be administered as a unit in order to obtain a comprehensive assessment of a particular factor or phenomenon. For example, a researcher may administer a battery of health surveys to a group of individuals diagnosed with a particular disease to assess multiple facets of the disease. Depending on the purpose of testing, individual tests may measure the same or different areas (or both) and may be scored separately or combined into a single score.

fatigue effect

a decline in performance on a prolonged or demanding research task that is generally attributed to the participant becoming tired or bored with the task. The fatigue effect is an important consideration when administering a lengthy survey or test in which participants’ performance may worsen simply due to the challenges of an extended task.
