temporal perceptual disorder

a condition, observed in some individuals with lesions in the left hemisphere of the brain, that is characterized by difficulty in perceiving visual and auditory stimuli over time. For example, individuals may be unable to identify a sequence of vowels repeated at measured time intervals.

n. the extent to which a study produces the same findings when it is conducted by a different independent researcher. A given research finding is thought to be stronger when it can be both repeated and reproduced. See repeatability; replication.
