in structural equation modeling, a measure of the amount of change expected in an outcome or dependent variable given a one-unit change in the causal or independent variable and no change in any other variable.

any performance, competition, work assignment, or other goal-oriented activity that individuals execute in the presence of one or more other individuals who are performing a similar type of task.
