Stevens–Johnson syndrome

a condition marked by eruptions of fluid-filled blisters on the skin, mucous membranes, eyes, and genitals. It has a fatality rate of 1% to 5% and may be associated with an adverse reaction to anticonvulsant and antibiotic agents. It is a variant of toxic epidermal necrosis. [Albert M.
