stakeholder

n. in evaluation research, any of a program’s sponsors, funders, decision makers, personnel, or service recipients who either have an investment in the functioning of the program or are potentially affected by information resulting from the evaluation of its processes and outcomes. Conflict can occur between groups of stakeholders with different interests, especially in the specification or weighting of the evaluation objectives.
