spectral sensitivity

the relative degree to which light of different wavelengths is absorbed by the photopigments of the retina. Each type of photoreceptor (i.e., rod or cone) has its own characteristic spectral sensitivity.

a table used to prioritize hazards on the basis of risk, which is defined by the intersection between the probability of the hazards and the severity of their consequences. Also called hazard-assessment matrix.
