spatial disorder

a disorder of space perception, usually associated with a lesion of the parietal lobe of the brain. It involves impaired memory for locations, constructional apraxia, route-finding difficulties, and poor judgment of the localization of stimuli. Individuals may underestimate the distance of far objects, overestimate the distance of near objects, or be unable to align objects according to instructions.
