the manner in which an individual distributes attention over a visual scene. Spatial attention is usually directed at the part of the scene on which a person fixates (see visual fixation). Also called distributed attention.

the self that has access to conscious experiences and knowledge, including knowledge of the self. In the thought of William James, it contrasts with the self as known and is synonymous with the ā€œIā€ (see nominative self). See also self as agent.
