social network analysis

a set of empirical procedures for studying the relational structure of groups and networks graphically and mathematically. For example, as applied to a work group, social network analysis methods would identify the ties or relationships linking each member to every other member and then use that information to calculate such indexes as network density, transitivity of relationships, and closeness of members. marital conflict

marital conflict

open or latent antagonism between marriage partners. The nature and intensity of conflicts varies greatly, but studies indicate that the prime sources are often sexual disagreement, child-rearing differences, temperamental differences (particularly the tendency of one partner to dominate), and, to a lesser extent, religious differences, differences in values and interests, and disagreements over money management.
