n. a deep-massage technique developed in the 1930s. It aims to relieve muscular tension, improve posture and balance, and enhance personal functioning through realignment of body structures. phentolamine

n. an alpha-adrenergic blocking agent with direct action on heart and smooth muscle. It is a potent vasodilator used in the management of severe hypertension associated with catecholamine excess, as in patients with pheochromocytomas. It is in infrequent clinical use. U.S. trade name: Regitine.
