a capacity to influence others based on the ability or the promise to deliver desired rewards. The strength of reward power increases with (a) the value of the rewards and (b) the extent to which the target of influence is dependent on the influencer for the rewards.

phentolamine

n. an alpha-adrenergic blocking agent with direct action on heart and smooth muscle. It is a potent vasodilator used in the management of severe hypertension associated with catecholamine excess, as in patients with pheochromocytomas. It is in infrequent clinical use. U.S. trade name: Regitine.
