retinotopic map

the point-by-point representation of the retinal surface in another structure in the visual system, such as the striate cortex. Visuotopic map is sometimes used synonymously but more properly refers to the representation of the visual field in any neural structure.

a series of norm-referenced tests used to determine an individual’s ability to learn, reason, understand concepts, and acquire knowledge. See EEG measures of intelligence; ERP measures of intelligence; fMRI measures of intelligence. See also assessment of intelligence.
