refractory phase

the period following orgasm during which further sexual arousal or orgasm is not possible. It occurs only in the male sexual-response cycle; females can have immediate further arousal and multiple orgasms. The length of the refractory phase increases with age.

carisoprodol

n. a drug belonging to the propanediols, a group originally developed as anxiolytics. Carisoprodol is now used as a muscle relaxant and is increasingly seen as an intoxicant drug of abuse. U.S. trade name: Soma.
