real-time amplification

a technique of auditory feedback to improve voice quality and diction, in which individuals speak into a microphone attached to an amplifier that feeds back voice and speech patterns without time lapse. The amplifier filters out background noises outside of the bandwidth (typically set to 100–80,000 Hz), allowing the speaker to experience optimal auditory feedback as he or she is talking in real time.
