psychotogenic

1. adj. describing a drug-induced state resembling psychosis, marked, for example, by sensory illusions or distortions, hallucinations, delusions, and behavioral and emotional disturbances.

2. n. an agent, such as a hallucinogen, that induces such a state. Also called psychotogen.
