n. a gland in male mammals, walnut-sized in humans, that surrounds the urethra immediately beneath the urinary bladder. It secretes a thin, alkaline fluid that increases in volume during sexual stimulation and becomes part of semen during ejaculation.

observer memory

an autobiographical memory that one remembers from the perspective of an outside observer. When retrieving an observer memory, the person sees himself or herself as an actor in the event. Also called third-person perspective memory. Compare field memory.
