Penrose triangle

a three-dimensional impossible figure composed of three bars, each at 90° to the adjacent bar, that appear to make a twisted triangle. The figure is more accurately called a tribar, since true triangles have three angles that add up to 180° rather than the 270° of the Penrose triangle. [Roger Penrose]
