overweight

adj. the condition of having more body fat than is considered normal or healthy for an individual of a particular age, body type, or build. Overweight individuals may lie anywhere on a spectrum from mildly overweight to seriously overweight (see obesity; morbid obesity). One of the most frequently used standards for assessing the percentage of body fat is the body mass index.
