olfactory tract

a band of nerve fibers that originates in the olfactory bulb and extends backward along the bottom side of the frontal lobe of the brain to a point called the olfactory trigone, at which point the tract divides into three strands leading to the medial and lateral olfactory gyri and the olfactory tubercle.
