odd–even reliability

a method of assessing the reliability of a test by correlating scores on the odd-numbered items with scores on the even-numbered items. The correlation coefficient between the two halves is adjusted using the Spearman–Brown prophecy formula, which accounts for the decreased size of the odd and even item sets compared to the test as a whole. Odd–even reliability is a special case of split-half reliability.
