Newman–Keuls multiple comparison test

a statistical procedure in which sets of means are compared following a significant result from an analysis of variance. The mean values of all experimental groups are arranged in order of size and formed into pairs, and the differences between members of each pair are evaluated against a critical value known as the Studentized range statistic. Also called Newman–Keuls multiple range test; Newman–Keuls test. [D. Newman, British statistician; M. Keuls, Dutch horticulturalist]
