musician’s cramp

a type of occupational cramp experienced by musicians, usually in the arm or hand, that prevents them from performing. The condition may be due to electrolyte imbalance. See also repetitive strain injury.

projection neuron

a neuron with a long axon extending some distance from the cell body. Also called Golgi Type I neuron. Compare local circuit neuron.
