moclobemide

n. an antidepressant drug that is a reversible monoamine oxidase inhibitor and relatively selective for monoamine oxidase A. It therefore lacks many of the food interactions that limit the use of irreversible, nonselective MAO inhibitors. Moclobemide has not yet been approved for use in the United States.
