Maslow’s theory of human motivation

the humanistic view of motivation proposed by Abraham Maslow, in which the higher human needs for understanding, aesthetic values, self-realization, and peak experiences are emphasized. Maslow contrasted the metamotivation arising from such metaneeds with the deficiency motivation arising from physical needs, insecurity, and alienation.
