Marxist feminism

a branch of feminism that locates the oppression of women in the context of a Marxist analysis of the oppression of the working class, thus viewing the oppression as systemic and ubiquitous. Marxist feminism concentrates on the economic aspects of women’s oppression and advocates remedies largely consonant with Marxist principles. See Marxism; radical feminism.

therapeutic approaches that focus on harnessing the power of the mind to bring about change in the body or achieve reduction of symptoms of disease or disorder. The various techniques used include relaxation training (e.g., autogenic training, progressive relaxation), meditation, prayer, and creative arts therapy.
