n. a computer programming language designed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Artificial Intelligence Research Laboratory in conjunction with the research firm Bolt, Beranek and Newman to encourage the development of problem-solving skills. A dialect of LISP, Logo was directed primarily at children and is based on Jean Piaget’s research in the development of thinking. thrombotic stroke

the most common type of stroke, occurring when blood flow to the brain is blocked by a cerebral thrombosis. A thrombotic stroke typically results from the narrowing and eventual occlusion of a large blood vessel in the brain, especially the carotid or middle cerebral artery, by atherosclerosis.
