standardized coefficient

standardized coefficient

any index derived from an analysis of two or more variables that have been transformed via standardization, which ensures their value ranges and variances are equivalent and thus appropriate for comparison. The term is most commonly used to denote the standardized regression coefficient or beta coefficient.
