quasi-experimental control group

quasi-experimental control group

in a quasi-experimental design, any group of participants who are assigned to a condition in which the treatment is not introduced. These individuals will receive the standard of care, receive a placebo, or participate in an activity that involves them in the study but does not include the treatment in any way.
