probability plot

probability plot

a graphic that compares probability values from two data sets; typically, one set will be a series of experimental findings and the other a theoretical set. Good examples are the probability–probability plot (P–P plot), depicting the cumulative probabilities of one data set against those of the other, and the quantile–quantile plot.
