polysurgical addiction

a compulsive drive to undergo one surgical procedure after another even when organic pathology cannot be found. The condition may be a manifestation of factitious disorder with predominantly physical signs and symptoms, somatization disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, or hypochondriasis.
