direct attitude measure

direct attitude measure

any procedure for assessing attitudes that requires a person to provide a report of his or her attitude. Traditional approaches to attitude measurement, such as the Likert scale, semantic differential, and Thurstone attitude scales, are examples of direct attitude measures.
