creative intelligence

in the triarchic theory of intelligence, the set of skills used to create, invent, discover, explore, imagine, and suppose. This set of skills is alleged to be relatively (although not wholly) distinctive with respect to analytical and practical skills. Compare analytical intelligence; practical intelligence.
