hypermobile testes

testes that move between the scrotum and the abdominal cavity, usually because of an inguinal hernia that has not been corrected. The testes may descend into the scrotum when the environment is warm, as when taking a hot bath, but retract into the abdominal cavity when the body is exposed to cold.

Bekhterev’s nystagmus

Bekhterev’s nystagmus

a form of nystagmus that develops after the loss of a second labyrinth. Nystagmus occurs after the destruction of the first of the two labyrinths but eventually subsides, only to recur as a compensatory effect after loss of the second labyrinth.
