humiliation

n. a feeling of shame as a result of being disgraced or deprecated. The feeling sometimes leads to severe depression and deterioration of the individual’s sense of self-esteem. Humiliation of a partner is frequently found in relationships characterized by sexual sadism and sexual masochism.
