hallucinogen dependence
in DSM–IV–TR, a pattern of repeated or compulsive use of hallucinogens despite significant behavioral, physiological, and psychosocial problems associated with their use, as well as tolerance and characteristic withdrawal symptoms if use is suspended. In DSM–5, hallucinogen dependence has been combined with hallucinogen abuse into single “use disorders” (e.g., phencyclidine use disorder) and are no longer considered distinct diagnoses.
